Quick question…when was the last time you updated your website?
Meaning, the last time you put new information, offers, discounts, services or anything on your site. If you can’t remember the last time you updated your website, chances are you need to get moving!
You should update your website at least every quarter – which is every 4 months or 6 months if that. You can update the look and feel, add more content, talk about new offers, highlight new lisitings, add new facts and figures and more! In order to make this happen, you must establish a solid relationship with your web developer. They should be able and willing to help you make your website all it can be. Think about it…why do you visit sites like www.newsday.com, www.nytimes.com, www.msn.com? Becuase they provide you with up-to-date current info and news. Your website should do the same for your buyers and sellers. Your website visitors want all the information they can get – it’s up to you to give them what they want.
If you need a few ideas to add to your site – try MLSLI’s FREE Web content. We have a library of FREE content for your website – it’s all real estate related and will give your website a boost.

How often do you update your website?

Many Realtors are using Facebook. More and more agents everyday are opening up a Facebook profile to connect with old friends and and in the meantime – solicit new business.
Facebook is realtivley new, so we are all still figuring out ways to use it for business.
So the question remains, should you have a personal and business mixed into one profile? Or, should you have one profile for business and one profile for pleasure.

If you are reading this, you’ve probably heard about Instanet. In fact, you may already be using Instanet. Instanet enables you to fill out MLS, LIBOR, and NY States forms, including the Agency Disclosure online – right through the Stratus Add/Edit tab. Once you fill out these forms, you can e-mail or fax them right from your PC.
More and more Realtors I meet with absolutley love this service. It’s FREE, it makes their life easier, impresses their buyers and sellers, and gets business done in an Instant! However, some Realtors are still doubtful if online forms are the way to go.
So, where do you stand? Are online documents really the way to go in Real Estate. Or, is the ole’ pen and paper here to stay?
If you’re on the bandwagon and want to learn more about Instant, here’s 3 different ways to get started:
